est Maintenance Services refurbished the tired-looking boys' and girls' toilets at Westcourt Primary & Nursery School into modern, fresh facilities for The Primary First Trust. The boys' toilets were enlarged from two to four cubicles, and the girls' cubicles were made deeper for extra comfort. Both blocks were fitted out with new cubicles, sanitaryware, lighting, wall finishes and flooring. The work was completed over the summer holiday, so the school could reopen with no disruption to pupils.

The school's pupil toilets were undersized and dated, and the work had to be finished inside a single holiday window.

The boys' toilets had only two WC cubicles and three basins, which was not enough for the number of pupils using them. In the girls' toilets there were four cubicles and four basins, but the cubicles were too shallow to be comfortable.

Although the work took place during the holidays, the school remained a live site with staff and visitors present, so safeguarding and keeping the work area separate were essential.
